Noble is a counsel at Gall Solicitors.
She has a broad civil and commercial practice, with emphasis on disputes resolution and financial regulations.
She represents claimants and defendants in high-value arbitrations administered by HKIAC, ICC, and LCIA, as well as a wide range of court proceedings in Hong Kong. She regularly advises on shareholder and joint venture disputes, investment redemption claims, other contractual disputes, unjust enrichment and restitutionary claims, unfair prejudice claims, defamation claims, injunction proceedings, land use and employment disputes. She is familiar with cross border disputes.
She advises extensively on financial regulations and investigations. She handled investigations over internal control failures, false trading and market manipulation, potential unlicensed activities, and other breaches of SFO and the Listing Rules. She acted for a financial regulator in a set of disciplinary proceedings. She advised crypto exchanges and related businesses on virtual asset regulations and licensing, and worked closely with the client and the SFC to bring in novel structures with adequate risk management.
She also advises clients on corporate governance, public law issues, and lobbying effortsin proposing new legislation or in response to proposed new legislation.
Over the years, Noble acted for banks, brokerages, financial regulators, international and PRC conglomerates, SOEs, listed companies, crypto exchanges, NFT and metaverse projects, high-net-worth individuals, universities, public bodies, and public officials.
Noble is a guest lecturer in law. She also contributed to the Kluwer Arbitration Blog, and the Special Release to the 2021 Edition of the Hong Kong Civil Procedure. Prior to joining Gall, she spent over nine years in the litigation department with a top-tier U.S. law firm, including six months at its New York head office.
She is admitted to practice in Hong Kong and New York state. She is also a panel mediator for HKIAC and the Integrated Mediation Office (West Kowloon) (IMOWK).
She is fluent in English and Chinese.
