Roy joined Gall in November 2017 as a Registered Foreign Lawyer.
Roy’s experience in employment law includes both advisory and contentious employment matters, where he acts for and advises employers and employees on contractual and termination entitlements, breach of contract, performance management and disciplinary processes, restrictive covenants, bonus disputes, and internal investigations.
Roy’s recent work includes conducting an investigation for a regulatory body, acting for a major financial services corporation in relation to the enforceability of post termination restrictions, advising a number of corporations on their statutory obligations in relation to leave entitlements, and acting for a number of CEOs and executives in relation to disciplinary, performance management, and mutual separation processes.
Roy qualified as a Solicitor in Australia in August 2012. Prior to joining Gall, Roy worked at Harmers Workplace Lawyers, a boutique Australian law firm specialising in Employment Law.
