Gall promotes employment and regulatory lawyer Andrea Randall to Partner


Hong Kong-based dispute resolution and litigation specialist law firm Gall is pleased to announce the promotion of Andrea Randall to Partner. Andrea joined the firm as a Senior Associate in August 2015, from Ferguson Solicitors LLP (now Spring Ferguson), a boutique London law firm specialising in Employment Law.

Andrea, an employment and regulatory lawyer, advises on both Hong Kong and English law. She has extensive experience in high profile, complex litigation, including multi-jurisdictional disputes.

Working closely with Senior Partner Nick Gall, as head of the employment practice, Andrea undertakes all types of Employment Law work on behalf of both companies and individuals, and advises clients on claims for breach of contract, wrongful termination, unlawful dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing and bonus disputes. She also negotiates and manages post termination restrictive covenants and team moves. On the non-contentious side, Andrea regularly advises on, and drafts, employment contracts, staff handbooks, bonuses and Long Term Incentive Plan (LTIP) clauses, restrictive covenants and separation (compromise) agreements.

The Regulatory aspects to Andrea’s practice include representing individuals and companies who are the subject of internal and/or external regulators’ investigations. She works closely with Hong Kong and foreign regulators in the financial and insurance industries.

Her promotion, with effect from May 3rd, brings the total number of Gall partners to five and further enhances the firm’s reputation as a leading independent dispute resolution and employment law practice in Asia.
